Main Engagements
Find out about the current projects we are engaging on below. More projects will be added in the upcoming weeks.

ONLINE ONLY- Birkenhead Market Consultations
Wirral Growth Company (Wirral Council and MUSE) are inviting people to share their views on their emerging design ideas on the new Birkenhead Market, to be located on the former House of Fraser site.
The new market will recapture the historic spirit of the 1845 market, through creation of a thriving hub of activity in the town centre.
An online survey is open until 26th March here.

13th until 22nd March – Birkenhead Waterfront and Surrounds
As part of the engagement for the Birkenhead Waterfront and Surrounds project, an online survey is open.
Wirral Council has commissioned a design team to deliver highway and public realm improvements to Wirral Waterfront and the surrounding areas. The project hopes to deliver more attractive with improved landscaping, more accessible walking and cycling spaces and better connections between the central Birkenhead retail area with the waterfront.
This is the third phase of community engagement on the Birkenhead Waterfront project showing the current design ideas and street layouts. These designs pick up on some of the feedback previously provided and connect with related project work to start to develop the options. With this phase we’re keen to get feedback on the more detailed designs for the different areas and to feedback what we’ve already heard through previous engagement.
There is also an online survey available, please click here for the survey.
