BirkenEd’s Place – w/c 2nd October

Last week in BirkenEd’s Place, we continued our engagement for the Birkenhead to Liscard Active Travel Route – a project that aims to create an impressive 3.5 mile cycling and pedestrian route between Birkenhead and Liscard. We have received more helpful and incisive comments on the scheme from local people. As part of our engagement for the Birkenhead to Liscard Active Travel Route, this week, we offered a virtual reality experience of the scheme. Visitors could visualise the proposed route via an exclusive virtual reality experience! A big thank you to Wirral Council and Digital Urban for creating this opportunity for our visitors. Thanks also go to our wonderful volunteers this week – Graham Roe, Colin Irlam, Julie Barnes, and Stephen Chapman.
This active travel consultation has now finished at BirkenEd’s Place, but there is still plenty more opportunities to get involved and have your say.
